Coming from different directions? How to get to us

From the M1 south of Nottingham. Very easy!
- Come off at Junction 21a (very close to Junction 21, marked Newark A46)
- Keep on A46 for about half an hour.
- Turn left off the A46 at the Cotgrave / Owthorpe Junction (approx 2 miles after you've crossed the Nottingham / Melton A606 Junction).
Turn right at the top of the slip road junction, heading towards Cotgrave. The entrance to the woodyard is 200 metres on the left with green metal gates & large 'RailwaySleepers.com' signs. Please wait in front of the gates for a member of staff to come & let you in. Ring us if you've been waiting a few minutes.

From the M1 north of Nottingham. More difficult!
- Come off at either Junction 26, 25, or 24 (whichever's the most convenient)
- Head towards Nottingham and then go round the ring road, following the signs for A52 Grantham / A606 Melton / A46 Leicester. All of these initially go south in the same direction around the Nottingham Ring Road.
- Eventually you'll come to a roundabout, and take the 3rd exit, heading for Tollerton / A606 Melton / A46 Leics. (The A52 Grantham road is the 2nd exit carrying on around the ring road)
- Go through Tollerton
- Turn left at the set of traffic lights where there is a signpost to 'Cotgrave 2.5 miles'.
- As you come into Cotgrave take the 2nd right into Scrimshire Lane'
- Drive along this road for exactly one mile. (It becomes 'Owthorpe Rd.) You'll drive through Cotgrave, and then leave it, climbing up a steep hill and entering the countryside. If you reach the A46 you've gone too far. The entrance to the woodyard is then 200 metres on the right with green metal gates & large 'RailwaySleepers.com' signs. Please wait in front of the gates for a member of staff to come & let you in. Ring us if you've been waiting a few minutes.

From the A46 north of Nottingham. Very easy!
- Head south on the A46 towards Leicester
- The A46 crosses the A52 (Nottingham / Grantham) at the Bingham roundabout.
- Carry on along the A46 for another 4 miles (approx)
- Turn left off the A46 at the Cotgrave / Owthorpe Junction (approx 2 miles after you've passed the Cotgrave / Cropwell Bishop junction).
- Turn right at the top of the slip road junction, heading across the dual carriage way bridge towards Cotgrave.

From the A46 south of Nottingham. Very easy!
- Keep on A46 from Leicester, heading north towards Bingham & Newark.
- Turn left off the A46 at the Cotgrave / Owthorpe Junction (approx 2 miles after you've crossed the Nottingham/Melton A606 Junction).
- Turn right at the top of the slip road junction, heading towards Cotgrave. The entrance to the woodyard is 200 metres on the right with green metal gates & large 'RailwaySleepers.com' signs. There will be a chain across the open gate with a 'Stop. Please wait here' sign. Please wait for a member of staff to come & let you in. Ring us if you've been waiting a few minutes.

LOST LOST LOST?
1) Ring us on 0115 9890445 or get to Cotgrave by whatever means! Find the old spired church in the centre of the village. Opposite one side of the church, near the butchers, you will see a road called 'Scrimshire Lane'. Take this road and drive  for exactly one mile. You'll leave Cotgrave, go up a steep hill, and start to come into the countryside. After another 400 metres the entrance to the woodyard is on the right with green metal gates & large 'RailwaySleepers.com' signs. Please wait in front of the gates for a member of staff to come & let you in. Ring us if you've been waiting a few minutes.  If you reach the A46, you've gone too far. If you find yourself in the middle of a field you are definitely lost. If you find yourself next to the sea, you have major directional problems!
